Graham Roper - The Woodcrafter
Besides depicting numerous creatures from the animal kingdom Graham has created portraits of British historical figures such as Elizabeth I, Henry VIII, Winston Churchill, and Isambard Kingdom Brunel. His most ambitious work to date is a version of Botticelli’s ‘Primavera’ (shown left with Graham) that took over 100 hours to complete.
He has demonstrated pyrography at a range
of events including at Some of his work is also available in craft centres such as Wild About Birds in Surrey. Graham works from pictures and photographs as well as designing original pieces. He accepts commissions.
